"Pefroen and the Sheep's Head" is a painting painted by the male Nederlands skilder Cornelis Troost. The over 280 year-old original was painted with the size: height: 64 cm width: 52,1 cm | height: 25,2 in width: 20,5 in and was painted on the medium pastel, gouache on paper on canvas. Signed and dated: C. Troost 1739 is the artwork's inscription. It forms part of the Mauritshuis s'n collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. We are glad to state that this masterpiece, which is part of the openbare domein word voorsien met vergunning van Mauritshuis, Den Haag. Besides, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has an image ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that die lengte is 20% korter as die breedte. The actor, painter Cornelis Troost was a European artist, whose art style can primarily be assigned to Baroque. The Baroque artist lived for a total of 54 jaar - gebore in die jaar 1696 en is in 1750 oorlede.
