Portret van 'n man was made by Anthonis Mor van Dashorst. The beyond 450 year-old original measures the exact dimensions: height: 69,2 cm width: 55,8 cm | height: 27,2 in width: 22 in. Furthermore, this piece of art is in the the Mauritshuis's digital art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. Secrétan, Paris; his sale, Paris, 1 July 1889, lot 146; purchased, 1889. Further, the alignment is portret with a side ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter Anthonis Mor van Dashorst was an artist, whose artistic style can primarily be assigned to Mannerism. The Mannerist artist lived for 56 jaar - gebore in die jaar 1519 en is in 1575 oorlede.
